Following production, assembly, rigorous quality inspection, and system commissioning, our customized 5 MWh high-voltage modular energy storage system has been loaded and shipped to Côte d’Ivoire. The equipment will be deployed in key local power-supply projects to address regional shortages and provide a stable and reliable power supply for local commercial and industrial operations and residential users. This delivery marks our entry into the West African energy storage market at scale.
Côte d’Ivoire has seen rapid industrialization and urbanization in recent years. However, insufficient grid infrastructure, unstable power supplies, and frequent blackouts have hindered improvements in livelihoods and industrial development, while power shortages remain a major challenge for residents and small and medium-sized enterprises. With a mature modular stacking design, a comprehensive intelligent BMS, and a multilayer battery-safety protection structure, the delivered 5 MWh high-voltage energy storage system supports peak-valley energy storage, off-grid standby power, and grid-voltage regulation. It stores electrical energy during off-peak hours and releases power during peak hours or grid failures, helping to stabilize voltage fluctuations, reduce the frequency of blackouts, and ease power-supply difficulties in Côte d’Ivoire.
The exported energy storage cabinets feature a highly integrated high-voltage architecture and wide-temperature adaptability suited to high-temperature, humid, and harsh outdoor conditions in Africa. Equipped with long-cycle lithium cells and a multidimensional safety-protection structure, the system is designed for stable long-term operation and lower operation and maintenance costs, meeting the long-term needs of African projects.
The Côte d’Ivoire order is a key milestone in our overseas market strategy. Our energy storage products have been used in domestic commercial and industrial energy storage, residential photovoltaic energy storage, and utility-scale power-station support projects. This African project reflects overseas clients’ recognition of our technical strength, product quality, and delivery capacity. Using the Côte d’Ivoire project as a foothold in Africa, YAHUA will further explore West Africa, East Africa, and other regional markets. We will develop localized energy storage solutions tailored to local grid conditions and climates, continuously supply safe, efficient, and cost-effective equipment, and support power-infrastructure upgrades with advanced energy storage technologies.
