Jiangxi Yahua New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. recently completed delivery of its independently developed 1.5 MW/3 MWh containerized battery energy storage system (BESS) at its Gongqingcheng manufacturing base in Jiangxi, bound for Estonia. It is one of our many large-scale energy storage projects in Europe and a major milestone in the company’s global expansion.
The system comprises three 500 kW/1003 kWh storage units operating in parallel, each housed in a standard 20-foot container integrating five clusters of LFP batteries, a 500 kW multi-purpose storage converter (MPS), industrial-grade thermal management, and a total-flooding fire suppression system. The platform supports direct PV integration and seamless grid-tied/off-grid dual-mode operation. The system is powered by Rept BATTERO 280 Ah LFP cells and features a three-tier BMS architecture (BMU + BCU + BAU) for comprehensive safety monitoring. With an IP55 protection rating, 16-grade wind resistance, and 8-degree seismic fortification, the system is built to meet the demanding environmental conditions of Northern Europe.
